Implementation of recommendations given by the Ombudsman.

  1. The Ombudsman may make a determination and inform the respondent party to implement his recommendation within the given period of time.
  2. If any Head of the respondent institution fail to comply with the given recommendations within the given period, the Ombudsman may mull deeply over the observations done by the head of the institution and furnish with a copy of the said officer’s report and the report of the Ombudsman which included the recommendations to the President and the Parliament as per the provisions of the Act No.26 of 1994.
